Neighbor Island Info
Update as of January 22, 2018: Kala mai, we have reached our neighbor island travel support capacity. Any future registrations for neighbor island public school employee participants will need to provide their own supports to attend. We appreciate the great interest. Feel free to contact us with any questions.
Neighbor Island Travel supports are available for public and charter school employees and students and HĀ Design Teams based on availability and timeliness of registration. Please review all information before registering to determine what supports you will be requesting. Note: individual requests will not be accommodated for any of the options listed below. If you choose to make your own arrangements, you will be responsible for all travel costs. Per diem will not be provided.
How will the summit accommodate neighbor island participants?
We recognize that it can be cost prohibitive for neighbor island. OHE will offer the following for the first 60 neighbor island public and charter school employees and students or HĀ Design Team members who register.
Please complete the Eventbrite registration information and mark "yes" that you are coming from a neighbor island and answer the follow-up questions. We will follow up with further details once registration has closed on February 9, 2018. Register early as there are a limited amount of travel funds available. First come, first served.
Contact Dana Ciacci at [email protected] with any questions.
